The SJB Academy Training Program:

  • The SJB Academy is a 6-step program that provides all training, development opportunities and guidance required to train members who may have no prior knowledge of the industry to enable them to become fully qualified financial advisers, in their own time.
  • Recruits start at Business Development Manager level. Progressing through the stages of trainee financial adviser and independent financial adviser, the aim of the Academy is to become a fully qualified Senior Independent Financial Adviser. We are willing to train and help you build up the required financial knowledge and would like you to grow along with us.
  • All leads are provided and are pre-qualified based on our target market
  • Successful candidates receive a base salary in addition to bonuses for performance
  • All business is conducted remotely via telephone and video calls
  • Members of the Academy are provided with close guidance and support from the senior advisers they work with until they become qualified financial advisers themselves

Candidate Profile:

  • We are looking for self-motivated individuals who have the desire to work for an ethical company that derives itself from the long-term management of clients.
  • Must act with integrity and demonstrate this in every aspect of your employment
  • Experience thriving within a target-driven environment
  • Experience within a phone/video-based role, or be able to demonstrate sales experience (or equivalent)
  • Confident in your communication/sales ability over the phone
  • Self-motivated and proactive when working on your own
  • Driven to continually strive to improve and stay focused
  • Great phone manner and objection handling. The ability to develop rapport, relationships, and trust
  • Demonstrate an interest in finance
  • Demonstrate the willingness and capabilities to pass exams to become a qualified financial adviser
  • No criminal record or unsolved debts to the tax office. Must have never been bankrupt (background checks will be done)

    Additional Requirements:

    • Native English speaker
    • At least 5 Cs (including Maths) in GCSE or equivalent. A degree is preferred.
    • Must provide WiFi at own home, own a laptop (for work use) and smartphone
    • Must be able to provide 2 previous references
    • The role is self-employed. You must set up as self-employed in your country of residence

      Further details:

      • Full-time, Monday to Friday (hours can vary). The probation period lasts 3 months, leading to a full-time position.
